Personal sovereignty is a principle based on Natural Law which recognizes an individual’s right of autonomy and liberty. One has freedom of choice to pursue life, liberty and happiness to the fullest extent so long as she does not infringe on others’ liberties. Thus, personal sovereignty is a natural right.
